Chair Yoga

Practice yoga while sitting to ensure stability and prevent loss of balance.  Class is designed to increase strength and flexibility while also helping in fall prevention.  Asanas progress to using the chair as a support while in standing poses or as a prop in mat-based poses (when appropriate for participants). 

Each class includes a guided meditation during savasna (final relaxation.)
