Youth Basketball League
Get ready to hit the court!
Our Youth Basketball League is designed to provide players in Grades 3–8 with an opportunity to develop their basketball skills, learn the fundamentals of the game, and enjoy the excitement of
playing on a team!
Players will work on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, teamwork, and game strategies, while gaining valuable experience through organized practices and games.
The program emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and, most importantly, having fun! All skill levels encouraged to join! Whether your child is new to basketball or looking to build on their existing skills, this league is a great way to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy the game.
If leagues experience low enrollment, the Recreation Department may work with neighboring towns to fill out the schedule. Some games may be played in other towns.
Coaches Wanted: Volunteer coaches are essential to the success of our basketball program. Whether you are sharing your love of the game or spending time with your child, coaching is a rewarding experience.
